Two middle-aged daughters of Bhagabati come together with their families in their old house to celebrate Durga Puja.A family drama which is portrayed on a background of Durgapuja, West Bengal's biggest "Utshob" (Festival). The story is about a cultured Bengali family, different members of which have gathered in native house on the occasion of Durgapuja. This movie remained instrumental in showing different common and complex problems being faced by a middle-class family.
