Taiko ensemble Kodo and composer Koshiro HINO spent one month on the small island of Sado to create music together. Toshiaki TOYODA captures this collaboration in a mesmerizingly edited work, complementing Kodo’s powerful performance with shots of the snow-clad nature surrounding them, with gods and spirits lurking everywhere.A new audiovisual experience by Toyoda Toshiaki, who went to Sado Island and filmed musician Koshiro Hino and Kodo, the local Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble, while they performed music composed especially for Shiver.
