暂无简介Adam lands in Manchester from Singapore, home of his much younger bride-to-be Angela, hoping his schoolboy son Matthew will return with him for the wedding. He finds Pete struggling with two jobs and unable to meet the fare whilst David's new partner Robyn is also reluctant to attend. When Adam has a fall and is hospitalized after thinking he saw Rachel Angela comes over to see him in hospital but Jenny is cynical as to the union's success. Adam is also shocked to hear not only that Matthew faces expulsion from school for dabbling in drugs but the unhappy boy confided in Karen, rather than his father and that Angela is unperturbed by the whole affair. Fortunately Angela has a suggestion which will overcome most of the obstacles - to hold the wedding in Manchester with her father Eddie arriving to give her away. The big day dawns but there are fears that Adam, haunted by thoughts of Rachel and with landlady Tina in the picture, may have cold feet.
