Black Earth Rising is a long form thriller which, through the prism of a black Anglo-American family, examines the West’s relationship with contemporary Africa by exploring issues of justice, guilt, and self-determination.Kate Ashby was rescued as a child from the Rwandan genocide by her renowned international lawyer adopted mother Eve.
